Franklin Mint 1931 Bugatti Royale Coupe De Ville in 1:16 scale. This die-cast replica is hand-assembled from over 200 separate components and hand-polished to a luxurious sheen. The Bugatti hood ornament is crafted in solid sterling silver. This model was purchased new and has never been displayed. The Franklin Mint Bugatti model comes in its original packaging. Removed only to take pictures.
Very fine details, it is about 14 1/2 long and stands about 4 3/4 inches high. Some of the operating features include opening hinged doors, a chauffeur's removable top, hood panels that raise to view the engine components, movable steering wheel that turns the front wheels, rotating tires, butler trays and a spare wheel that can be removed from the back. The body of the car is black with silver side panels. Paint is in very nice condition. The undercarriage is red and is stamped with the following: 1931 Bugatti Royale Coupe De Ville and ©1991 Franklin Mint Precision Models. There is also an attached hang tag.
Comes with a hard folder that includes a print of the actual car, a parchment paper detailing the history of the 1931 Bugatti Royale Coupe De Ville and a signed and sealed certificate of authenticity. An envelope with information on how to care for this die-cast model, a letter from Franklin Mint and Unpacking instructions. It is highly recommending that these instructions are read prior to unpacking the model.
